We are looking forward to seeing you during the virtual interview process on screen soon, to make sure you get the best out of your interview, please find some top tips below.
Punctuality - please ensure you dial into the virtual interview with plenty of time to spare and you are prepared for the interview to start at the agreed start time.
Good lighting - Light is your best friend, so try not to sit with any light behind you. Sit with the light hitting your face or even from the side and it will make the world of difference.
Eye Level Camera - We’ve had calls with half cut off faces. The trick is to use whatever you can, books, boxes, your kids (joke). It will make everyone else feel like they have got your attention and make for a better call.
Presentation - Ensure you are well presented for your interview, remember while this maybe held virtually this is still a formal interview! Dress to impress!
Sound & camera quality - please check your camera, microphone and speakers ahead of the call, perhaps arrange a trial call with a friend or family member to check everything works correctly and you are ready, set up and good to go.
Privacy - where possible try and conduct the call somewhere which is free from noise and distraction, we want to ensure we can hear all the interesting things you have to say!
Documents - Please ensure your ID documents are present and correct ready for when they are requested on the call. Please remember, without the required ID we will be unable to continue with your application.
